HOW TO GET THE KIDNEYS FILTERING LYMPH
The kidneys are the last stop for filtration and detoxification, which make them the first organ to cleanse. If the kidneys are not functioning properly, then any type of detox or cleanse that you do will be rendered less effective, if not even damaging to the body.
Most people today have lost the ability of the kidneys to properly filter their lymphatic system. Lymph becomes stagnant when the kidneys stop filtering. Inflamed and blocked kidneys come from an acid diet. Obstructions from stagnant lymph, mucus, sediment, and even kidney stones make filtration very difficult.
The kidneys must be properly filtering so the body can rid itself of cellular waste (toxins and acids) that are carried by the lymph system. Fungus and bacteria also proliferate when lymph stagnates. Once the kidneys are filtering inflammation will start going down and the body will alkalize and hydrate. Tumors, cysts, etc will disappear. Pain and inflammation will subside. Damaged tissues and cells all over the body
will begin to heal and regenerate. Until then it will be a slow “road to Wellville.”
Test Your Urine
Pee into a glass jar first thing in the morning upon awakening. Let it sit for at least an hour. Your urine should be cloudy if your kidneys are filtering. Clear urine, no matter what color, means that you have work to do. Once the kidneys start filtering you should always see some sediment in the urine unless you are drinking lots of water. This can take days, weeks, and even months to get going. When the kidneys finally break loose you will see lots of sediment.
Fruit can get the kidneys filtering.You want to be eating a diet of at least 80% raw fruit. Acid fruits are the most cleansing and alkalizing even though they taste acidic. These include lemons, limes, oranges, grapefruit, pineapple, strawberries, tangerines, cranberries, and tomatoes. They get rid of acids, get lymph moving, and are powerful at pulling toxins out and dissolving obstructions from clogged kidneys.
Sub acid fruits are next best: apples, blackberries, blueberries, cantaloupe, cherries, grapes, mangoes, nectarines, peaches, pears, plums, raspberries, and watermelon make up this group.
Try a mono-fruit diet with sub-acid fruits. A 100% grape diet for a few days or a week (or even longer) will get your lymph moving and hopefully get your kidneys opened up and filtering.
A lemon juice fast can help with filtration by shocking the kidneys with lots of astringent pulling action. Some people have reported success with watermelon fasting as well.
Herbs can really get things moving. Jivana Detox (jivanadetox.com) can stimulate lymph movement and get kidney filtration and in some cases very quickly. If you are still not filtering try a kidney and an adrenal glandular to get tough kidneys filtering.
Parsley, ginseng, dandelion, corn silk, saw palmetto berries, and juniper berries are good for cleaning the kidneys. Licorice is also good but it raises blood pressure.
Since the lymph system has no pump like the blood system (heart & lungs) it will only move by capillary action, when muscles contract, or if it’s physically moved. Light exercise like yoga (especially hot yoga), walking, bike riding, aerobics, dance, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, etc. can help move lymph to the kidneys. Don’t exercise hard or use a rebounder if you are not filtering however. Massage (including neuro lymphatic massage) and dry skin brushing help too.
Stimulating the lymphatic system with herbs pushes toxins to the kidneys and can cause UTI’s if they are not filtering properly. It is important to get at least some filtration before embarking on a deep detox program.

DETOXIFICATION IS ESSENTIAL
Is it any wonder that we are needlessly suffering on such a grand scale? It is now estimated that half of American males, and a third of American females will get cancer in their lifetime! Detoxification has become essential not only to being healthy, it’s now a mater of survival.
A QUICK BIOLOGY LESSON
Your body is made up of roughly 100 trillion cells that live on a river of fluids. There are two major fluids that take care of these cells –blood and lymph. Blood is the “kitchen” which feeds the cells, and lymph is the “sewer system” that deals with cellular waste. The lymph nodes are your “septic tanks.” The lymph system is responsible for removing toxic waste from your body, yet it’s relatively ignored by modern medicine.
A QUICK CHEMISTRY LESSON
There are only two basic sides to chemistry –acid and alkaline. Acids are “Male.” They are aggressive, corrosive, and can cause degeneration, inflammation, and pain. Alkaline is “Female” –healing, soothing, and calming. Cellular waste is acidic and needs to be eliminated and it’s the lymph’s job to move these acids out of the cells and get them to the kidneys to be filtered and eliminated out of the body. This is detoxification. It’s that simple.
MOVE YOUR LYMPHS!
Now here’s the key. If your lymph system is not functioning properly (from too much protein, and mucus forming foods like dairy, grains, refined sugar) your body becomes acidic instead of alkaline, which is it’s natural state. Stagnant lymph turns acidic (acidosis) and is responsible for the vast majority of the ailments we suffer from. Simply put, you must move your lymph if you want to get healthy. Acids create inflammation and pain, damage cells, organs, arteries, joints, bones, etc. Get rid of the concept of disease and treatment based thinking. Its all a fiction made up by the medical-pharmaceutical
community. Getting the whole body healthy is the key and to not just alleviate specific symptoms and call that a cure.
THE MYTH OF DISEASE
I believe that toxicity and acidosis are the root cause of what’s called diabetes, heart disease, strokes, cancer, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity, dementia, Alzheimer’s, depression, bi-polar disorder, arthritis, Chron’s disease, IBS, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, lupus, lyme, M.S., Parkinson’s, erectile dysfunction, hair loss, acne, psoriasis, tumors, cysts, boils, macular degeneration, cataracts, and a myriad of other indications of acid damage and stagnant lymph. A lifetime of toxins and congested
rotting mucus inside of us leads to every sort of discomfort and sick symptom known to mankind.
GENETICS ALSO PLAY A ROLE
We all have weak organs and body systems that have been passed down to us from previous generations. Childhood disease is epidemic because we are weakening as a species. A genetic blueprint of our weakened bodies is passed down to future generations who become weaker and weaker unless we do something about it. We can make our bodies stronger and thus the species stronger. It starts with you. If you already have children, teach them this information. Just because you have certain genetic weaknesses it doesn’t mean that they will manifest if you keep your body strong. This is called
epigenetics or genetic expression. Bad genes are usually not an excuse, and excuses take your power away.
FIX THE CAUSE AND THE SYMPTOMS GO AWAY
The allopathic medical community (mainstream medicine) has been trained to go after symptoms mostly with drugs, surgery, and radiation. They rarely ask “why” the patient got sick in the first place. Forget trying to kill the alligators, just drain the swamp. Get that lymph moving and those kidneys filtering!!!
EATING RIGHT IS YOUR FIRST STEP TOWARD DETOXIFICATION
Fruits and vegetables are balanced in sugars, amino acids, and fatty acids. They really are a perfect food. Cooked dead animals are not the way. By switching back to a diet consisting mostly of fresh fruits, leafy green vegetables, nuts, and seeds you will have taken a great step to returning your body to it’s natural glorious state. Fruits should be ripe or else they tend to be acidic. Your normal diet should be 75% fruit and 25% veggies, nuts and seeds. If you want to speed up the detoxification process or If you have a
chronic, degenerative condition you will want to go on a 100% fruit diet.
YOUR EYES TELL A LOT ABOUT YOUR HEALTH
The iris of your eye is a “roadmap” to your body and Iridology is the study of this. It’s an invaluable soft tissue analysis that can show the amount of congestion in your lymph system, chemical accumulations, as well as specific weaknesses in organs, glands, and other body systems. Having your eyes read is a great first step to detoxification.

MAKE SURE YOUR KIDNEYS ARE FILTERING LYMPH
If there was to be only one body system to detoxify, the lymph would be it. You can get the lymph moving and filtering by eating lots of fruit and using an herbal formula that targets the kidneys which are the main filters of the body. You will know when your kidney’s are filtering lymph when you urinate in a jar and see cloudy white urine that settles to the bottom in an hour or so. This is a simple test that says a lot about your health.
CLEAN & RESTORE YOUR GI TRACT
You want to restore proper digestion, absorption, and elimination to the body. Raw fruits and vegetables and an herbal formula are a good start. A few colonic treatments will help to loosen and clean out “mucoid plaque” that sticks to the wall of the intestines. This is from eating a less than ideal diet. Laxatives are very addicting so I would avoid them. Your natural intestinal flora will restore itself so there is no need for probiotics or fermented foods.
DON’T FORGET ABOUT YOUR SKIN
Your skin is key to removing toxins from body and is your largest eliminative organ. Keep it clean and stimulated with skin brushing, and hot and cold showers. Working up a sweat is a great way to move toxins out of the body through the skin. Remember, your skin also brings things in to your body as well. I would not put anything on my skin that I would not eat.
MOVE YOUR BODY
Jumping up and down on a small trampoline (rebounding) really gets the lymph moving. Take a brisk walk or go for a swim as well, it especially helps move lymph in your extremities. Be careful about over exertion because it creates lactic acids. The increase in your heart rate, respiration, and perspiration you get from exercise also helps you detoxify.
PARASITES NEED TO GO
Get rid of micro-organisms like candida, bacteria, etc. You also want to make sure you are clear of worms, flukes, etc. Everyone should go on a herbal parasite formula for a month.
CLEAN YOUR LIVER, GALLBLADDER, AND ENHANCE YOUR PANCREAS
It will take you about a month to clean and enhance these important organs. If you have diabetes or are really thin it will take longer.

THE SOURCE OF SUFFERING
Man is a tropical species and when he left the warmer climates he changed his natural fruit and plant based diet to an acidic high protein diet consisting of meat, dairy, and grains. I believe this has destroyed his health and vitality and led to most chronic degenerative conditions.
RETURN TO YOUR ORIGINAL DIET
Our closest relatives are the primates which are frugivores, not omnivores as we have been lead to believe. They eat a diet of mostly fruit and also consume some plants, and some insects along the way. They are not meat eaters and they never cook their food which destroys nutrients and changes it’s chemistry. A silver back gorilla is one of the most powerful animals on the planet. Even a chimpanzee can rip a man apart.
THE HUMAN FOOD HIERARCHY
Un-cooked is better than cooked. Fruits are better than veggies. Veggies are better than nuts & seeds. Nuts & seeds are better than grains. Grains are better than eggs. Eggs are better than fish. Fish is better than fowl. Fowl is better than red meat.
LIVING FOODS vs COOKED
Food is about energy and the more energy your cells have, the healthier they are and the more they can fend off disease. The electromagnetic energy (combined molecular energy) of uncooked foods is much stronger than that of cooked. Enzymes, which are a catalyst for the stored energy in food (potential energy) are destroyed by heat thus making the food less energetic (kinetic energy). Unsaturated fats become saturated when cooked and can turn in to carcinogenic compounds.
THE PROTEIN MYTH
In the western world we consume lots of animal protein and we are led to believe that the more of it the better. In reality, animal proteins are acidic and hard on the digestive system and the kidneys. Since the kidneys filter the lymph system, they need to be clear and strong. Many proteins are in fact seen as “foreign” and are attacked by the immune system causing inflammation (mucus). What we need are amino acids (the building blocks of protein) which are plentiful in fruits and vegetables. Tell a mountain
gorilla he needs to eat more meat if he wants to grow up to be big and strong.
NOT ALL SUGAR IS CREATED EQUAL
The sugar found in fruit (fructose) is a monosaccharide –a simple sugar that the body uses as it’s main source for fuel. Fructose is the highest energetic form of a monosaccharide. Your body becomes stronger and more energetic from simple sugars. Brain and nerve tissues thrive on it and can even regenerate. Complex sugars (like sucrose, maltose, and dextrose) on the other hand are mucus forming and hard on the body. Diabetics do well with fructose provided they eliminate complex sugars from
their diet and monitor their blood sugar levels closely during the transition to fruit sugars.
DAIRY IS NOT YOUR FRIEND
After age two most humans do not produce lactase, the enzyme that digests milk. Your body responds to dairy as a toxin and it becomes mucus forming, clogging the lymph system and digestive tract. Since it’s also acidic I would not consume it, this includes kefir and yogurt as well.
SAY NO THANK YOU TO GRAINS AND LEGUMES
The western diet is full breads, cakes, cookies, crackers, pasta, tortillas, rice, beans, etc. They are popular because they taste good and are a relatively cheap source of carbohydrates and calories. The downside is that they are acidic and clog the digestive and lymph systems. Beans are very difficult to digest and cause indigestion, gas, and bloating. The less of these you consume, the better.
WHAT TO EXPECT AS YOU DETOXIFY
During detoxification and the cleansing process the body will try and eliminate mucus, acids, chemicals, etc, through any orifice. This includes the bowels, kidneys, skin, ears, eyes, mouth, and nose. This is known as a “healing crisis.” You may or may not experience lethargy, swelling, itching, headaches, body aches, sore throat, diarrhea, constipation, lung congestion, fever, heartburn, and more. Though this is not pleasant it is part of your healing journey. In general, the more toxic a person is, the stronger the
healing crisis. Your symptoms should be light if you detox slowly.
You have just begun to detoxify your body. It takes time and discipline but you will be well rewarded with lots more life force and vitality. Also remember that love, good thoughts, and laughter alkalize –stress and negativity are acidic, so enjoy the process and watch as you become more alive. This is one of the greatest things you can do for yourself in your lifetime!
