In this Dr. Greger article the Harvard Health Letter is saying that research shows that it would be very hard to eat too much fruit…and eating lots of it appears to have multiple benefits. Fruit….it’s what for dinner (and lunch, and breakfast).
The Thyroid regulates body temperature so if you run cold you don’t sweat. The skin is the 3rd kidney and helps them clean acids and toxins out of the lymph system. If you are not sweating out toxins the kidneys can back up and your “filtration” suffers. The Thyroid also controls your metabolism so if you have a hard time losing (or gaining) weight it could be from a weak Thyroid. Getting the “mucus” out of the glands is vital to a healthy body.
